🧊 Helping Neighbors Beat the HeatJoin us for an evening of hands-on community care as we assemble summer heat relief kits for neighbors who may be struggling in the Arizona heat.
We’re partnering with My YOGA Community Center and the Good Trouble Gathering to create simple, practical kits that can be handed out directly to people in need across our community.
These kits will be kept in volunteers’ cars for direct outreach and will also be distributed at Bisbee Pride later in June.
🎒 What’s in the Kits Items may include: Sunglasses Hats Sunscreen Reusable water bottles Other helpful heat-relief supplies
🤲 How You Can Help Please bring any of the previously listed items that you want to donate. We already have some sunscreen packets from the Cochise County Health Department, as well as sunglasses.
We’ll assemble the kits together using storage bags and prepare them for distribution throughout the community.
This is a simple, meaningful way to care for neighbors, build connections, and show up for each other during the hottest months of the year.
