Early Education is a rewarding and beautiful calling.
A calling that asks us to dedicate our lives, pour our hearts into others, and show up every single day. It is also a calling that requires unwavering commitment to what is best for little learners, and one that demands us to advocate for the rights and respect of our youngest citizens.
The “Day of Inspiration” is an opportunity for you to reconnect with your passion, engage your inner explorer, and playfully challenge yourself with the principles of the Reggio Emilia Approach to Education. It is a day for you!

The Power Is Yours
Reconnecting with your Purpose
Erin will inspire and rejuvenate you through stories, photos, and tools based on six choices you can make to brighten up your life - to brighten up the world. Her address is full of humor and offers realistic and relevant tools to help you go from depleted to self-considerate, afraid to courageous, stressed to joyful, judgmental to compassionate, exhausted to grateful and distracted to present.
• Reflect on the possibilities for your life and your career.
• Recognize roadblocks that may be holding you back.
• Identify ways to claim your power and enhance your purpose.
Schedule:
7:30am-8:15am - Registration & Light Breakfast (included!)
8:15am-8:45am - Welcome
9am-10am - Atelier Experiences (register in-person)
10:15am-11:45am - Keynote, Erin Ramsey
12pm-1pm - Atelier Experiences (register in-person)
1:15pm-1:30pm - Closing
3pm - Tour of SVELC (optional, separate registration)
Participants will receive a professional development certificate from St. Vincent Early Learning Center for 4 hours.
Parking:
Day of Inspiration will take place in Carter Hall. The best place to park is Lot I, but if that is full, you can also park in Lot C (though it is not as close). There is also some parking just off of Carter Hall.
