After two years of celebrating together from the comfort of our homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, sidewalks and local trails to keep our community safe and healthy we are excited to invite you – in person! – to our annual Day of Hope.The Day of Hope is a day of inspiration and celebration, combining two of MaineGeneral’s signature events – the Walk for Hope and Cancer Survivors Day.
MaineGeneral’s Day of Hope will bring our community together with an inspirational ceremony honoring our cancer community, followed by a 1.8-mile Walk for Hope through the beautiful University of Maine Augusta campus. We will feature screenings, cancer and prevention education, integrative therapy sessions, inspiration and hope – all while raising critical funding for the Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care (HACCC).
The HACCC, located in Augusta, Maine, provides cancer care to 12 percent of Maine's cancer patients.
