DEMANDS. Please join us and help us demand the following:
No ticket office closures! We need staff with knowledge of the cheapest fares and best routes, as well as to help with enquiries.
Train travel should be accessible to all – ticket machines are not always user-friendly.
Protect railway workers’ jobs – no redundancies! Staff are needed
at stations.
Keep guards on the trains in the interests of passenger safety and use their knowledge to passenger queries en route.
Ensure essential track maintenance – REMEMBER POTTERS BAR!
No real-terms pay cut for railway workers.
