Share Your Passion for Art by volunteering at SJMA!
Whether you're interested in leading gallery tours as a member of the Docent Council or inspiring students through our Let's Look at Art program in Bay Area classrooms, SJMA offers a variety of rewarding volunteer opportunities.
Our volunteers are an essential part of the Museum community. In addition to supporting our programs and visitors, they enjoy regular gatherings, social events, and opportunities to connect through art-related and community outings.
Join us for an informative and interactive session to learn more about volunteering at SJMA. Museum staff and current volunteers will be available to answer questions and share insights about the many ways you can make a meaningful impact while supporting the Museum's mission and educational programs.

Let's Look at Art training will meet twice per week for eight weeks, beginning in fall 2027.
