Take your wedding photography further with an advanced hands-on workshop at The Juliet in Kansas City, MO.
Join Staci Brucks for a free session designed for experienced photographers looking to refine their creative vision, master lens selection, and elevate their approach to wedding portraiture. Together, we'll explore intentional composition, creative use of focal length, depth of field, and lighting techniques that help transform beautiful moments into compelling, story-driven imagery.
Throughout the workshop, participants will photograph couples in wedding-inspired scenarios throughout The Juliet's elegant event spaces. From romantic portraits and candid interactions to carefully styled wedding details, you'll have the opportunity to experiment with a variety of shooting approaches while receiving hands-on guidance from Staci. Learn how different lenses can dramatically influence storytelling, perspective, subject separation, and the overall feel of your images.
You'll have the opportunity to shoot with Nikon Z5II, Z6III, and Z8 cameras, paired with an extensive selection of lenses available for hands-on trial. Compare focal lengths and optical characteristics across a wide range of portrait, event, and storytelling scenarios to discover the gear and techniques that best support your creative style. Our local dealer partner, Bedford Camera & Video, will also be onsite with product experts and camera sales, making it easy to get your questions answered and explore the latest Nikon gear.
