About this Event

This workshop is part of a two-day programme designed to support health and wellbeing projects in getting off the ground and remaining sustainable.

Day 2 focuses on developing the knowledge and skills needed to successfully secure funding for health and wellbeing initiatives. The session is designed for community leaders, project coordinators, social entrepreneurs, and anyone looking to create impactful and sustainable projects.

Identify the essential elements and skills that are necessary to construct and write competitive bids and tenders.

Gary Parker of CNT Associates will teach you how to make your applications more successful and give tips to those who have written unsuccessful application or who find writing funding applications challenging.

The session will cover:

  • Identifying suitable funding opportunities
  • Writing strong and compelling funding proposals
  • Building sustainable projects and initiatives
  • Presenting clear and persuasive cases for support
  • Understanding funding priorities and expectations

Attendees will gain practical insights, tools, and guidance to strengthen future funding applications and improve their chances of success.

This event also provides an excellent opportunity to connect with others working to improve health and wellbeing within local communities.
