Start your photography journey with confidence at Beginner Day at Zhou B Art Center in Kansas City, MO.
Join Staci Brucks for a free, hands-on workshop designed specifically for photographers looking to build their skills in wedding and portrait photography. Whether you're new to photography or looking to gain experience directing and photographing people, this immersive session will introduce you to the fundamentals of capturing beautiful, meaningful wedding imagery.
Throughout the day, participants will take part in a mock wedding experience, photographing real couples in styled wedding scenarios throughout the inspiring spaces of Zhou B Art Center. You'll learn how to work with natural and available light, compose flattering portraits, capture authentic moments between couples, and photograph important wedding details that help tell a complete story.
You'll get hands-on experience shooting a variety of wedding-day moments while receiving guidance from Staci every step of the way. Plus, meet our onsite local dealer, Bedford Camera, who will be available throughout the event with product expertise and camera sales onsite.
You'll be provided with a Nikon Z5II or Z50II to use during the session, and you'll get to keep the meaningful images you create. Please note, Nikon gear will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Come ready to learn, create, and experience the art of wedding storytelling through photography.
