Wendy Kromer Confections and the 1890 Queen Anne B&B will, yet again, be rich with Christmas cheer and artisanal gift items!This year's Holiday Retail will take place on 3 dates! SATURDAY, Dec. 14; SATURDAY Dec. 21 & SUNDAY Dec. 22.
On all dates, Wendy's decorated sugar and gingerbread cookies, fruitcakes, springerle and other Holiday treats will be available for purchase at The 1890 Queen Anne B&B, which is also home to Wendy's studio.
In addition to Wendy's handmade items, Storm Mountain Coffee Roasters will be taking over the parlor with a delicious selection of their freshly roasted coffees. (Storm Mountain is the coffee served at The 1890 Queen Anne, so we really love this coffee, and, of course, its coffee roaster "Coffee Julie"!).
Chef Catherine St. John (Hudson OH), will be joining us with a selection of her sourdough specialities! Sourdough Scones, Brownies, Biscotti....and Wendy is begging her to bring as many delectable, artisanal loaves of sourdough bread as she can make! Catherine will also be bringing some cozy items (think "alpaca wool") from Pure Passions Farm (Kent OH).
Ohio potter & instructor Pauline Rancourt (Pottery by Pauline) is a new vendor. Pauline has been creating for 3 decades and will be bringing some of her favorite, handbuilt pieces that are usefull AND beautiful (birdhouses, feeders & beautiful kitchen items)!
Cuban-born artist Elsa de Cardenas (Akron OH), will also be one of our Artisans! Elsa is outstanding in the art of mosaics, working with glass & broken heirloom china.
