Learn how DaVinci Resolve’s AI tools can cut hours out of your post-production workflow. This hands-on class covers Magic Mask for isolating
About this Event

DaVinci Resolve’s Neural Engine has changed what a solo editor or small team can realistically pull off. Tasks that used to mean hours of manual keyframing or a trip to an audio specialist can now be handled in a few clicks, if you know which tool to reach for and how to set it up.

This class walks through three of Resolve’s most useful AI features in a practical, project-based way. Magic Mask lets you isolate a person, face, or object across a shot for targeted color work, secondary grades, and quick background replacement without traditional rotoscoping. Voice Isolation strips room tone, HVAC hum, and background noise out of interview and event audio, often saving footage you’d otherwise consider unusable. Speed Warp generates new frames between existing ones for genuinely smooth slow motion, even when the clip wasn’t shot at a high frame rate.

Just as important, we’ll cover the limits. AI tools fail in predictable ways, and knowing where those edges are will save you from delivering work that looks processed. We’ll talk through the shooting decisions that make these features work better, when a manual approach still wins, and how to build them into a repeatable grading and mixing workflow.

Best suited for editors, videographers, and content creators with basic Resolve familiarity. Note that these features require DaVinci Resolve Studio, not the free version.
