The Texas Water Resources Institute, TWRI, invites community members, landowners, and residents interested in local water quality to attend a public meeting for the Davidson Creek Watershed Protection Plan (WPP).
The meeting will be Sept. 16 at 12 p.m. at the Burleson County Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Office, 1516 FM 166, in Caldwell.
This meeting will bring together residents, environmental experts and community leaders to discuss decisions on key pollutant sources in the watershed. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to review recent water quality data and begin exploring solutions to improve water quality in the Davidson Creek Watershed.
Attendees are asked to RSVP for the event at tx.ag/DavidsonRSVP.
There is no requirement for participants to have attended prior meetings, anyone interested can catch up by reviewing notes and presentations from previous meetings on the Davidson Creek website at davidson.twri.tamu.edu/meetings.
Funding for developing the Davidson Creek WPP is provided by the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board, through the State Nonpoint Source Grant Program.
