We are celebrating the first year of Anna Fedorova and Nicholas Schwartz being artistic directors of the Davidsbündler Music Academy. The concert is the highlight grand finale of the year! They will be performing together with their team of star musicians who are all partners in crime on stage and off. The program will also present a handful of Davidsbündler young pianists in solo as well as the Side-by-Side element, with two highlighted string talents from the academic season. The program features:
-Borys Fedorov & Daniel Rowland perform the music of Ukrainian composer Valentin Silvestrov off their new CD which has received critical acclaim (5 stars in the NRC)
-Tribute to Vladimir Mendehlsohn in his version of "Romeo Juliette" in septet version for piano and strings
-Unique and imaginative piece by Borys Fedorov (Anna's father) called "Adventures of Mowgli" with Jeroen Soors, solo oboist of the Netherlands Philharmonic.
-Selections from Peteris Vasks' enrapturing string quartet
*Anna Fedorova, according to Trouw the 'house pianist of The Concertgebouw', will give an intimate and adventurous musical party concert together with Nicholas Schwartz, Daniel Rowland, Maja Bogdanović, Benedict Kloeckner, Georgy Kovalev, Dana Zemtsov, Floor Le Coultre, Tim Brackman, Borys Fedorov and Tatiana Abayeva.
