David Bernot was raised in Gilbert Arizona, and has been based out of Denver, Colorado since 2012. He received his Undergraduate in 2016 from the University of Denver, and his Masters degree in 2021 from the University of Colorado Boulder. Davidis currently attending the University of Northern Colorado for a Doctorate in Jazz Composition. David has received two Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composer awards, four Downbeat Student Jazz Awards, and he won 1st place in the Carinthian International Jazz Saxophone Competition held in Austria in 2022.
