DAVID BERKELEY
Santa Fe singer, songwriter, and author David Berkeley has recorded nine solo albums and authored two books, each of which pairs with one of those albums. The New York Times praises Berkeley's "lustrous, melancholy voice," and the San Francisco Chronicle has called him "a musical poet." Berkeley has been a guest on This American Life and is the recipient of ASCAP’s Johnny Mercer Songwriter Award. He is also one half of transatlantic folk duo Sons of Town Hall. JOHN FRANCIS
Originally from Mississippi, Mustain spent his early years singing in church, which heavily influenced his songwriting. After moving to Santa Fe roughly seven years ago, he evolved his sound, drawing inspiration from the high desert landscape. His music features elements of fingerpicking, three-part vocal harmonies, and acoustic instrumentation. He and his band have worked on projects like the self-produced record in progress at Kitchen Sink Studios and the working-titled album Train Songs.
TIAGO ARRAIS
Brazilian native and former Santa Fe resident, Tiago Arrais rose quickly to notoriety in the Brazil music scene as part of the duo Os Arrais he formed with his brother. The pair released five acclaimed albums on the Sony before Tiago began recording music as a solo artist. His most recent is the deeply personal Cançoes de Amor.
