Dave’s 500th parkrun

Apparently 500 parkruns is a milestone, and a few people have told me I should mark it… so here I am, reluctantly making a Facebook event.
I started parkrun back in August 2012, so it’s only taken me a casual 14 years to get to 500. Clearly, I don’t rush milestones.
I’ll be doing my 500th parkrun at Aveley on Saturday 31 October. If you’re around, come and join me for the usual 5k run, jog or walk. It’d be lovely to see some familiar faces.
No speeches, no fuss, and absolutely no parade. I’m already getting enough attention just by making this event.
