Davenport Junior Theatre Workshop: Puppetry 10-13

Children ages 10-13 are invited to come and explore the art of theatre through three different topics: acting, musical theatre and puppetry! We will go over the basic tools and methods used in all three areas while also putting them to practice through different games and activities. Whether you are completely new to the art of theatre or wanting to pick up some different skills, there will be plenty to learn about the power of theatre and play!
We will explore the art of puppetry through showcasing various puppets that have been created and used at Junior Theatre as well as how they would be performed in a show. Afterwards we will discuss the puppet making process as well as the different kinds of puppets that can be made and used while creating our own.
This program is intended for children ages 10-13.
