Show Description
Dave Moore is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Iowa City. He was a frequent guest on American Public Radios "A Prairie Home Companion". He has recorded for Red House Records, and has toured throughout the United States and Canada.
Elijah Wald has been performing for almost fifty years, playing blues, ragtime, swing, country, and cowboy songs, as well as Bahamian and Swahili acoustic styles. He worked for five years with the legendary Black string band master Howard Armstrong, recorded with Dave Van Ronk, and has also written over a dozen books, including biographies of Josh White, Robert Johnson, and Jelly Roll Morton, Dave Van Ronk's memoir, and Dylan Goes Electric!, which is due out as a movie in December. His shows blend music and stories from a wide range of people and places in a compellingly personal style.
