National Museums Liverpool, in collaboration with The Cavern Club, is proud to present a special night celebrating the next generation of Liverpool music, curated by BBC Radio Merseyside’s Dave Monks.
As the host of BBC Introducing on Radio Merseyside, Dave has spent years championing emerging artists from across the region, giving new bands their first radio plays, live sessions and interviews. For more than 15 years he has also hosted his monthly showcase at the Cavern Live Lounge, helping launch the careers of hundreds of artists - many of whom have gone on to play major festivals such as Glastonbury.
For this special event Dave brings that same passion for new music to the Museum of Liverpool, presenting a handpicked line-up that captures the spirit of the city’s ever-evolving music scene.
Headlining the evening are Stone, one of Liverpool’s most exciting rising bands. Known for their explosive live shows, the four-piece blend punk, garage rock and electronica into a high-energy sound shaped by modern youth culture. Fresh from their European tour and the release of their latest album Autonomy, Stone are rapidly making their mark on the UK music scene and are firmly a Liverpool band to watch in 2026.
Also featuring two special up-and-coming support acts (to be announced), this promises to be an unforgettable night celebrating the future sound of Liverpool.
This event is in collaboration with The Cavern Club, as part of National Museums Liverpool's Summer of Sound, a six week music programme.
Suitable for 16+ (under 18s should be accompanied by an adult).
