Dave Johnson is an artist, composer, and celebrated performer in the southwest Michigan music scene, and beyond.
Dave has performed at some of the most notable venues in the Midwest, including Fitzgerald’s Nightclub in Berwyn, IL., the Heartland Cafe, the Abbey Pub, and the legendary Double Door in Chicago.
Best known as the primary singer and songwriter in the American roots band, Midwestern Lull (Railway Records, Chicago), Dave draws inspiration from 90’s alt-country and roots rock, and delivers personal and meaningful songs with a voice often compared to Neil Young, Jackson Browne, and James Taylor.
