Dave Holland New Quartet (Concert)

Dave Holland is one of the most important and influential jazz musician in the world. His extraordinary music talent and vision, combined with his unique attitude to imagine always innovative ensembles, are the trademarks of his unbelievable career (he played with Miles Davis, Joe Henderson, Betty Carter, Chris Potter, Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny, Chick Corea, Stan Getz just to name a few).

The great English double-bass player returns in Brescia for the 20th edition of the JOTR festival. He will debut with a stellar brand new quartet made up by the saxophonist Jaleel Shaw (who in these last years collaborated with Roy Haynes, Tom Harrell, The Mingus Big Band, Roy Hargrove, Check Corea..), the amazing Canadian pianist Kris Davis (considered one of the most innovative and original player of her generation) and Nasheet Waits who is one of the most influential drummer of these last years.
