Dave and Sarah (or Virginia Martin and Grace Mole) are an indie-folk duo specializing in close knit harmonies. Both originally from Rhode Island, they met on their first day at Mcgill University in Montreal CA, only to find out that their grandparents (Dave and Sarah) had grown up together in Jamestown, Rhode Island. After a year of fast friendship, they began playing music together last summer, starting out at various open mic's in Montreal. The pair plays an acoustic guitar and sometimes a fiddle to accompany their harmonies, shining a new light on the old folk sound. You can find them on Instagram at @daveandsarah - no released music yet but it can be expected as their original repertoire continues to grow!
