The Thirsty Scholar, a historic Pub located in Somerville, MA, is just a stone's throw from Cambridge and Harvard University. In addition to great food and drink we have live music and for a string of dates in 2024 we have Dave Alves sharing his own reimaginings of your favorite songs as well as his own creations to set the perfect ambiance for your evening. Dave's velvety vocals atop groovy guitar will catch your ear continuously throughout the night. You won't want to miss the intimate performance he offers! Music will be 8-11p
We also are privy to a large collection of vintage board games which have become a huge hit with our customers. You'll also find beautifully aged mahogany bookshelves lined with classics from the likes of Hemingway, Emerson, Jane Austen, Edgar Allen Poe, Shakespeare, and more - a display that will transport you back in time. Our historic pub, located on the Somerville / Cambridge MA line is truly a Boston treasure you don't want to miss.
