Date Night: Pottery on the WheelLooking for a unique night out? Grab your partner and head to the Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art for a creative evening inspired by the one and only George Ohr, the “Mad Potter of Biloxi.”
During this fun and relaxed session, couples will get hands-on experience at the pottery wheel. In this fun, beginner-friendly class, our instructors will guide you step-by-step as you learn the basics of wheel throwing and create two ceramic pots to keep.
We’ll glaze and fire your pieces after class, and they’ll be ready for pickup in about two weeks. Out-of-town visitors? We can ship your finished work for an additional fee.
Bring a date, wear clothes you can get dirty, and get ready to make memories (and maybe a little mess) in the spirit of Biloxi’s most eccentric artist.
Place: Biloxi Center for Ceramics
Cost: $48 per person (tickets are sold per person not per couple)
Level: Ages 18 and up
Class Limit: 10 students per session
Refunds less credit card fee are available up to 7 days before the class begins. After that period, the fee is non-refundable. However, you may transfer your ticket to a friend.
