About this Event
Data Science for Social Good Munich is a 2-month fellowship program where talented data scientists from all around the world to contribute to social initiatives, funded by the Munich Center for Machine Learning (MCML). After two months of hard work, we are happy to invite you to our Closing Ceremony on Wednesday, Sep 25th (4-9pm) at the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities.
You can look forward to:
- Pitches on with the UN's International Organization for Migration (migration flow prediction) and the Bavarian Forest National Park (visitor traffic prediction)
- A personal address by Bavaria's State Minister for Digital Affairs, Dr. Fabian Mehring
- A keynote by Bayerischer Rundfunk's Chief AI Officer, Ulrike Köppen, on becoming a data-driven society
- Networking over dinner & drinks with like-minded data science and social innovation enthusiasts
