Data Driven Project Performance: Real World Applications

Following on from the insightful presentation from Dr Alex Budzier, which was organised by Octant AI, in conjunction with Saïd Business School, University of Oxford and University of Queensland Business School, Octant AI is delighted to present the next workshop in the Data Driven Project Performance series.   

Cuong Quang created Octant AI from his 2017 MSc dissertation at Oxford University. He was an Associate Fellow (2018-2019) and Associate Scholar (2019-2020) in the major programme faculty at Saïd Business School. His ongoing research with academics at Saïd builds on the work of Emeritus Professor Bent Flyvbjerg – renowned social scientist, megaproject expert, and Financial Times bestselling author – and Associate Professor Alexander Budzier. His experience in artificial intelligence started in 1999 with his research into machine vision for engineering surfaces and continued with application of machine learning methods on oil and gas projects.   

As a co-founder of Octant AI, Cuong specialises in building trustworthy, valuable, and safe AI products that create financial value for project-based organisations in government and the private sector. He combines his deep experience in project management with data science to help people easily use AI to make their work more productive and satisfying.
