Data Centers: Responsible Growth & Community Readiness

The City has implemented a temporary administrative delay on potential data center developments while it undertakes a thoughtful review of this emerging issue. No decisions have been made regarding future data center development or what a potential regulatory framework may ultimately include.
As part of this process, the City will engage residents, businesses, community stakeholders and other interested parties to better understand the opportunities, concerns and potential impacts associated with data center development. Feedback like yours will be an important part of that process and will help inform the City’s consideration of whether new regulations or a broader regulatory framework may be appropriate.
