Pollinators are an essential part of many ecosystems. In this program for ages 12+, you'll learn how to collect pollinator data as a citizen scientist and practice techniques for documenting pollinators in a nature journal so you can track changes in your area over time!
Come dressed for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes. This program will be conducted entirely outdoors. Meet your leader at the Outdoor Classroom, a short 3-5 minute walk down the gravel road from the parking lot. Bring a filled water bottle and a nature journal if you have one. Basic paper journals and pencils will be provided to anyone who needs one!
