Join The Running Shop and New Balance for a fun 4 mile(ish) social run starting at the store, heading through Winterhaven, and ending back at the shop for more festivities (hot chocolate, cookies, Holiday shopping). The run will take place Wednesday December 18th.
PLEASE mark "Going" on this Facebook event page if you plan to attend! (not just the default "interested")
New Balance will be there too, offering "Try-On" shoes for your walk/run. Take advantage of this great opportunity to see for yourself why everyone loves Fresh Foam. Featuring the New Balance 1080, and the New Balance 860. Just leave your old shoes with us and take the try-on shoes with you to Winterhaven and back. When you return them, tell us how you liked them!
We will head out the door at 6:15 for our winter "Runderland" jaunt! Come early to try on a pair of New Balance shoes -- our rep will be here!
*If you'd like to participate but prefer not to congregate as a group, feel free to begin your run a little early, at 6pm!
Please bring two things:
1) A non-perishable food donation item. A staff member will drive them over to the Community Food Bank donation drop off at Winterhaven!
2) A headlamp/flashlight and blinky light if you have one. It will be about 1 mile of running between the store and the Winterhaven neighborhood, 2 miles in Winterhaven and 1 mile back to the store. Let's light it up the whole way!
