Dashboards & Decisions: Using AI without Going into AI Autopilot
About this Event
Dashboards & Decisions: Using AI without Going into AI Autopilot
More data. More tools. More content. But unfortunately, not more time. Sound familiar as a marketer? We know AI can help, but the tricky part is knowing where to hand off the work while holding on to our own judgement.
In this session, we’ll sort marketing process steps into three simple buckets: what can be automated, what needs to stay human, and what works best when people and AI collaborate. Along the way, we’ll share practical ways to cue human decision making in your processes and share how we’ve brought this to life with our marketing dashboard reporting.
What You’ll Walk Away With
- A simple process for categorizing your marketing tasks.
- Practical ways (analog and digital) to avoid AI over-reliance.
- Some real-world examples to inspire your next human-AI work collaboration process.
About the Speakers
Rachel Schmitz is a marketing leader with a background in psychology and a genuine curiosity for technology, shaping how she thinks about people, data, and decision-making. As an independent marketing consultant currently embedded with TiER1 Performance, she leads initiatives across demand generation, analytics, and marketing technology. Rachel built her expertise over nearly a decade at Prolink, rising to Director of Marketing, and later guiding customers through the adoption of AI recruiting software at Sense. She is especially curious about how data and AI can help us ask better questions, challenge assumptions, and make smarter decisions without losing the human judgment behind great marketing.
Sarah Ehrnschwender brings a blended background of marketing, business, technology, and design. As a Principal at TiER1 Performance, she has led Marketing for the past 10 years, and brings experience implementing emerging technology. Prior to TiER1, she served as Director of Marketing at the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing and was recognized in the 2015 Cincinnati Business Courier Forty under 40 Class. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Miami University and an MBA and Master of Science in Marketing from University of Cincinnati. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Leadership and Change at Antioch University focused on employee wellbeing in human-AI work collaboration.
