You have never seen R/C racing like this before. Everyone puts a quarter in the cup, lines up on the appropriate starting line, and races two laps around my oval dirt track, winner takes all the quarters!!! A staggered starting line ensures close races between different speed vehicles in the same class. Adult oriented atmosphere, children 18 and under MUST have parent or guardian, there are absolutely no role models present here. This takes place at my house once a month, if you do not behave, you will leave. Power hookup provided via generator, if you want anything else, feel free to bring it like tents, tables, chairs etc.PAY ATTENTION TO THIS ----->REGISTRATION OPENS 9AM
THIS YEAR WE START AT 10 AM and we are racing by class this year with whatever shows up.REGISTRATION OPENS AT 9 AM. There will be sign in sheets on clipboards for each class. If at least three of the same style vehicle want to race by themselves (like three 4WD stampedes), they get to. I am pretty good at evening the field so bring what you want to race and i will find a place for it. Please do not be offended if i ask you to move up or back from the starting line, my goal is to see a close race to the finish. Each class will get roughly 20+ races on the oval.
!!! ALL NITRO AND 1/5 MUST HAVE QUIET STYLE EXHAUST!!! my neighbors living room is less than 50 ft away from turn 3 and i don't want to rock that boat so PLEASE quiet them down.
This years Classes are:
1. 2WD buggy and Stadium Truck
----Traxxas Bandit, Rustler, Associated B6, T6, Losi 22, 22T etc.
2. Short Course 2WD & 4WD
---Slash, 22SCT, Blitz, SC10, Senton, etc, and short course style vehicle
3. 4WD MONSTER TRUCK
---Revo, Maxx's, Savage's, Monster GT's, Nero, etc, sometimes this class is combined with truggy depending on vehicle.
4. 4WD 1/8 Buggy
-- RC8, TLR 8's, Vorza, Typhoon, Cobra, etc
5. 4WD 1/8 Truggy
--Kraton, Losi 8-T, assoc RC8T, etc, and most of Damon's Revo's with front one way and center diff LOL
6. 1/10 4WD truggy
7. 1/5 scale
--X-maxx, Baja 5, Redcat Rampage
8. 2WD MUDBOSS!!!
We race for Quarters every race off a timed traffic light. We GO ON GREEN !!! Red light on for about 20 seconds, yellow for roughly 10 seconds, then green for 40 seconds. When the green light is on DO NOT GO ON THE TRACK. You will see why when you get here. I also recommend that for your vehicle safety to not stop directly after the finish line as some racers have a strong NO DNF policy. Cough, Cough, Wylie. Pull off to the side after the race. Again, you will see why when you get here.
I am securing no additional sponsors this year. If any companies want me to give away their stuff they can send it to me. I am also recommending everyone visit their local hobby shop to replace any broken parts after the races like Bay Area Hobbies in Pasadena MD, Remote Control Hobbies in Lutherville MD, and First State Hobbies in Newark DE. Just please toss those broken parts in the junkyard before you go. My goal with all this is to have fun and get a lot of laps in on the track every race day. And to laugh our asses off all day. Y'all better bring a shitload of quarters with you because we are going to be doing a lot of racing this year!! With this potential class schedule there will be about 140 2-lap races so if you want to run every class then bring the fleet and $35 worth of quarters cuz thats 140 races. Or bring 25 cents and make it work. Charge those packs, tighten those screws, and get those vehicles ready for this crazy event!
