Στην έβδομή της συνάθροιση η ομάδα της Nowa Atena παρουσιάζει για πρώτη φορά στην Αθήνα δύο από τα πιο δυναμικά σχήματα της νέας post-punk σκηνής του Βερολίνου.

Οι Das Beat σχηματίστηκαν το 2021 στο Βερολίνο. Ο ήχος τους είναι ένας συνδυασμός Γερμανικού New Wave, Indie και Dark Disco πάνω σε έναν δυναμικό μπάσο παλμό.
Ο Alexander Cowan (DJ Kirby) στην παραγωγή και την κιθάρα και η Eddie Rabenberger στα φωνητικά - γερμανικά και αγγλικά - γράφουν τραγούδια για τον έρωτα, την κατάθλιψη και τη γρήγορη ζωή της πόλης. OI εκρηκτικοί Das Beat μας προκαλούν σε ένα χορό στα όρια του χρόνου.
Οι Isolationsgemeinschaft (I.G.), με το εύστοχα αντιφατικό όνομά τους, έρχονται από την post-punk / underground σκηνή του Βερολίνου. Οι Jan και Christoph ηχογραφούν τη ραγισμένη πραγματικότητα του παρόντος: σκοτεινά synths, κοφτά drum machines, μπάσο, μονότονα φωνητικά, και αιχμηροί στίχοι συνθέτουν έναν ωμό ήχο - συχνά έντονα χορευτικό, με επιρροές από την πρώιμη μετα-πανκ ηλεκτρονική σκηνή της Γερμανίας των ’80s (DAF, Die Gesunden, Lunapark, Gleitzeit).
In its seventh gathering, the Nowa Atena collective presents- for the first time in Athens- two of the most fierce acts from Berlin’s emerging post-punk scene.
Das Beat formed in 2021 in Berlin. Their sound is a blend of German New Wave, Indie, and Dark Disco over a driving, bass-heavy pulse — the “das beat.” Alexander Cowan (DJ Kirby) on production, and Eddie Rabenberger on vocals - in German and English - craft songs exploring love, depression, casual dating and the fast-paced life of the city. Explosively energetic, Das Beat invite us to a dance on the edge of the timeline.
Isolationsgemeinschaft (I.G.), with their strikingly contradictory name, emerge from Berlin’s post-punk underground scene. Jan and Christoph capture the fractured reality of the present through dark synths, chugging drum machines, bass, monotone vocals, and sharp lyrics, forging a raw sound that is often intensely danceable, drawing from the early German electronic post-punk scene of the ’80s (DAF, Die Gesunden, Lunapark, Gleitzeit).
