Join the fight against plastic pollution at Fannie Bay this June as our Darwin Marine Debris Team hosts their monthly community beach clean-up.
Come along and help protect the Darwin coastline and meet like-minded people - together you will help make our oceans a little safer for wildlife. Sea Shepherd merchandise will be on sale.
Event Details:
* Date: Sunday, 20 June, 2021
* Location: You'll find us at the Darwin Trailer Boat Club - 8 Atkins Drive, Fannie Bay
* 8.00 am Contact-less registration starts and Event commences with a safety briefing
* 11.00 am Event concludes.
What to bring:
* BYO gloves (compulsory to BYO and wear gloves during COVID)
* Wear closed-in shoes
* Be SunSmart
* Reusable water bottle (no single-use plastic, please)
** Bring along a face mask in case you need to face cover during the event or to adhere to Government restrictions.
**If you are feeling unwell on the day, please do not attend.
**Please note we have implemented several changes to our cleanups to make them COVID Safe for all participants; however, due to the changing nature of Government restrictions, the above event details and schedule may change.
