We figured it was time to celebrate the amazing life of Darren Ray with some music on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 6:00pmCST at George's Majestic Lounge featuring The Uncrowned Kings and special guests Travis Kidd, Diane Rudolph, Isayah Warford, Leah R. Spears-Blackmon, James Dunham and likely much more as calls go out and confirmations come in. We in The Uncrowned Kings consider Darren Ray to have been one of the greatest male vocalists in our regional galaxy and certainly one of the kindest and most giving of his time. This is our chance to come together around the time of his birthday to celebrate him. For many of us, there is not a day that goes by or song heard on the radio that doesn't remind us of ole Darren Ray. We are not raising money for a cause (yet) or charity...just a celebration!
