Darn Hot Tuesdays in June - Weekly Balboa Classes

Darn Hot Swing Dance Collective are delighted to be bringing back Darn Hot Tuesdays for June!
Each Tuesday night for 4 weeks, starting at 7pm we will host a 1 hour balboa class, with an hour of social dancing and practice time from 8pm.
For the month of June our focus is "Unexpected Connections". Each week our rotating teaching team will share some of their favourite ways to be creative with connection.
Class + practice is $20 on the door for drop-ins, cash or card.
A 4 week pass is available via humanitix for $60+bf - that's a whole week for free!
This month's teaching combinations are;
Tuesday 2nd - Tim and Tara
Tuesday 9th - Karen and Kris
Tuesday 16th - Raif and Tim
Tuesday 23rd - Karen and Tara
Tuesday 30th - No class, all social dancing!
Please note; as June has 5 Tuesdays, the 5th Tuesday will be a social dance night. $8 entry, ticketed separately, and not included with the 4 week pass - mark your calendars for the 30th!
Classes are held at the Djerring Centre in Abbotsford, right next door to the Collingwood Town Hall, and very close to Collingwood Station. There is ample parking in Eddy Court, and drivers are advised not to leave valuables in cars.
These classes are aimed at dancers who are already familiar with the fundamentals of Balboa, including closed/purebal basics, out and ins, lollies, and toss outs. Absolute beginners are recommended to keep an eye out for our next Fundamentals block before joining. Please feel free to contact us to chat if you're not sure whether these classes will suit you.
