About this Event
This week's class will give you an introduction to developing B&W negatives in the darkroom, so whether you're a beginner or you're looking to re-familiarize yourself with the process, sign up!
Please bring an exposed roll of black and white roll of film to develop! Numbers for this class are extremely limited, so if you reserve a spot and can't make it, please give us plenty of notice!
The focus of this class will be to go through the basics of film developing only.
The class will cost €10 per attendee, which will help pay for materials. Please have your booking confirmation ready to show us before class starts. Due to extremely limited class size, please only reserve a spot if you can definitely make it. Please arrive early to make sure everyone gets the most out of this class as possible.
YOU MUST BE A DUPA MEMBER!
Recommended B&W films: Ilford HP5+, Kentmere Pan 400, Kodak Tri-X, or Kodak Double-X.
Ilford XP2 is not suitable for this workshop.
After the workshop you will book in individually to scan your negatives that you have developed. Scanning tutorials will be taught by either the Junior or Senior Darkroom Officer and will take roughly an hour to complete for the first time. After you have been trained and feel confident to use the scanning equipment you are welcome to book in on your own.
