Dark Sky, People & Place Workshop - Sydney

A sensitive approach to lighting is essential to preserve the darkness of the night, whilst still providing glare-free illumination for wayfinding and safety.

Whether you are a landscape architect, urban planner or professional with an interest in the delivery of quality public realm experiences, you will take away practical understanding of lighting optics and controls from this interactive Workshop. We will explore Harbour Trust's iconic Sub Base Platypus to see how inground luminaires, projectors and exterior downlights bring a highly used visitor space to life after dark.

The Workshop comprises a presentation and hands-on site demonstration and includes refreshments.
