For the last 8 years, we’ve gathered our voices up in this way.
in our humanness :: in reflection :: in shadowed light
to remember our connection to the darkness, to our selves and to each other
Join us for one of our favorite circles of the year. This ritual of song always touches right where it’s tender. Where we may feel grateful or aching or everything all at once.
All songs are taught on the spot in call and echo community singing style. All voices are welcome — no performance or perfection needed.
Juli Burdette is a seasoned community gatherer, musician and song leader. She guides with equal parts reverence and play with a touch of holiday spice. Singing with others is her life’s work. Expect loving, connected songs and a real sweet time!
John Oyzon will be supporting on percussion, holding it down per usual and this year, we’ll get a bonus! 8-9pm he’ll hop on his synthesizers and give us some music to groove to while we connect after singing.
Please arrive 5-10 min early to get settled and enjoy live ambient grooves from Johnny O.
