Living in a time of unprecedented loss and destruction can lead to feelings of sorrow, despair and hopelessness. Many people who are struggling with these “disenfranchised emotions” have only a small inkling of what it is, while others may be very well aware, but don’t have a community to share it with.
An eco-grief circle connects us with others and creates a safe and sacred space to hold and express these difficult emotions around the planet’s climate crisis. This circle is designed to offer mutual support, healing, insight, and love, though it is not intended to be therapy.
Grief - shows us what we love and reminds us of our connections.
Eco - meaning “home” refers to relations and inter-connectednes
Eco-grief- Pain for the loss of our shared home stemming from a place of connectedness and love.
