Saturday, August 16thThis year’s events will occur at multiple locations, and a few will be ticketed.
Panel seating may be limited and is first-come, first-served. Once the seating is filled, panels will be standing room only.
You may bring up to four books from home to be signed. The authors will sign anything purchased from The Doylestown Bookshop at these events.
Schedule of Events:
11:00 AM - 11:30 AM - Panel discussion with Mary SanGiovanni, Kay Chronister, and Chris Panatier, moderated by Lahaska Bookshop Bookseller Marguerite Turley.
11:35 AM - 12:05 PM - Panel discussion with Diana Rodriguez Wallach, Vincent Tirado, and Christopher Golden, moderated by Lahaska Bookshop Bookseller Marguerite Turley.
12:00 PM - 3:00 PM - The Hops/Scotch mobile bar will be at The Doylestown Bookshop offering a selection of Dark Ink-themed drinks. Drinks are available for purchase; cash and credit are accepted.
12:00 PM - The Doylestown Bookshop will provide a light lunch.
12:10 PM - 12:50 PM - Book signings with Mary SanGiovanni, Kay Chronister, Chris Panatier, Diana Rodriguez Wallach, Vincent Tirado, and Christopher Golden.
1:00 PM - 1:30 PM - Writing Workshop: Crafting the Cosmic with Mary SanGiovanni. Mary will discuss the definition, origins, and defining works of cosmic horror - what it was, is, and is evolving into. CLICK HERE FOR WORKSHOP TICKETS.
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM - Our friends from Dracula Beyond Stoker will be on site offering a variety of their publications for sale. Dracula Beyond Stoker is a fiction journal dedicated to celebrating and continuing the legacy of Bram Stoker's Dracula.
1:35 PM - 2:05 PM - Panel discussion with Clay McLeod Chapman and Sam Rebelein, moderated by Dennis Mahoney.
2:10 PM - 2:40 PM - Panel discussion with Chuck Wendig, Lindy Ryan, Todd Keisling, and Nat Cassidy, moderated by Violet James McMaster. *Last panel of the day.
2:45 PM - 3:30 PM - Book signings with Clay McLeod Chapman, Sam Rebelein, Nat Cassidy, Dennis Mahoney, Chuck Wendig, Lindy Ryan, and Todd Keisling.
4:00 PM - Dark Ink Movie Night at The County Theater. Viewing and discussing The Texas Chainsaw Massacre with Paul Tremblay and John Langan, moderated by Brendan Joyce, film programmer for the County Theater. You must purchase a movie ticket to attend. Purchase tickets here.
The Doylestown Bookshop will be on-site to sell books at this event featuring both authors. The County Theater is located at 20 E State St., in Doylestown.
