La Lechuza (the owl witch) is a haunting figure known in South Texas folklore. Both graceful and terrifying, this dark fan veil choreography takes soft smooth bellydance fusion movements and sharp cutting isolations to bring this creature to life. Learn to use your fan veils as an extension of your character building and story telling element as we move to this dark electronic, aggrotech beat. This choreography is open to advanced beginners and intermediate dancers. Some previous fan veil experience is helpful, but not required for this piece.
