Troupe Dagaz is so excited to host, one of a kind dance instructor, Zaharaaaaaa in Lexington! We often attend her events and always enjoy her performances. Come join us as we learn some dark fusion technique and choreo with Zahara. For those workshop attendees interested in performing in the evening show we will have a google form shortly!Zahara's Tangled Web has been studying, teaching, and performing a variety of belly dance and fusion dance styles for over 20 years. She's the organizer of the annual Carnival Noir show in Cincinnati each October, and is the director of The Tangled Lovelies and The Dark Fusion Dames. Workshops Saturday January 11th:
11:30am-1:30pm Z Veil with Z Layers:
Learn unique ways of dancing WITH your veil, as well as layering the veil over isolations and more. Please bring a silk veil for this class.
1:30-2:30pm Lunch Break- there's a coffee shop in the building and lots of food within walking distance as well.
2:30pm-4:30pm Dark Fusion Drum Solo
It's a NEW dark fusion choreography by Z, created just for this workshop! Learning choreographies is a great way to develop additional dance skills, as well as borrow little combinations and isolations for use in your own routines.
There will be a show in the evening most likely starting at 8pm! More info to come and google form for those wanting to perform shortly!
Pricing:
Early Bird (ends Oct. 31st.) $50 per workshop or $100 for both
Regular Price will be $60 per class or $120 per class after Oct. 31st.
Classes can be purchased on the mindbody app under yoga at the massage center studio.
