October THEME: DARK FEMME / DOMINATRIX 😈👄

(dress up optional!)

TWO CLASSES (join for one or both!)

Class 1: Sexi Dance Workout (bare feet/sneakers) - learn basic "sexi dance moves" while getting an incredible workout!

Class 2: Heels Dance Basics (heels encouraged) - learn and refine heels dance skills + learn 1-2 mini heels choreography routines🔥 ( Songs will fit the theme!). Option to perform + film yourself at the end!

10 AM ARRIVE/Stretch

10:15 AM CLASS 1 Sexi Dance Workout

11 PM CLASS 2 Heels Dance Basics Learn 2-3 "mini choreography" dances (beginner friendly + all levels welcome!)

11:45 AM perform/film yourself (optional!)

WHAT TO BRING

Water

Layers for warm up/cool down

Sneakers and/or heels

(New to heels? "ballroom heels" are the easiest to dance in if you're looking to get some! Amazon sells them. If you want invest in a nicer pair, Burju and Pleasers are two great brands!)

Knee pads recommended

All genders welcome. AGES 18+ are welcome (yes, any age over 18...bring your mama!). NO DANCE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Hi friends! I’m Sinéad ("sha-nade"). I'm a dancer, teacher of yoga+qigong, and an acupuncturist+holistic doctor! As a former gymnast and ballerina, dance class was the way I kept my spirit alive during many years of graduate school. The higher my stress, the more I danced - so I ended up dancing A LOT 😂 . Dance is my “other life”, my alter ego, my safe space to express my wildness. This SAFE SPACE is what I want to bring to you. Yes, you’ll learn how to look hot dancing and move your body - but you’ll also meet incredible women who will support your self-expression. If you’re scared, let this be your encouragement to break through and COME TRY! All are welcome.

CLASS IS LOCATED AT DIA DANCE Studio in Durham. free parking available in the lot in front of the building. Please arrive on time.
