Dark Bloom is a full-day immersive ritual devoted to exploring the parts of ourselves we are often taught to silence: our intuition, our fire, our eros, our inner advocate.
These aspects, when pushed aside, don’t disappear; they lead from the shadows. In this retreat, we invite them into the light through embodiment, voice, breath, and ritual.
Why the Dark Feminine?
The dark feminine is not bad. It is wild, primal, fierce, and creative.
She is the force of transformation, rage, death, rebirth, sensuality, and truth-telling.
Unlike the “light feminine,” which society often celebrates as soft, nurturing, and beautiful, the dark feminine archetypes teach us about power, chaos, and reclamation.
When suppressed, they can distort into manipulation, destruction, or self-sabotage. When embraced, they will awaken wholeness, radical self-trust, and embodied power.
We’ll approach these energies through four literary archetypal gateways:

Each archetype offers a mirror for the aspects of ourselves we’ve silenced, and an invitation to reclaim them.
What to Expect
Dark Bloom is a full-day immersive ritual. The flow of the day gently guides you from exploration into expression, and finally into full-bodied embodiment:
Morning: Listening to the Body
We begin with gentle guided practices to explore how our bodies speak to us. Through felt sense, sensation, and intuition, you’ll gain tools to notice and interpret your body’s subtle messages — like a “body talk” practice that builds trust with your inner wisdom.
Opening the Voice
From there, we move into sound — opening the voice in playful, expressive, and sometimes uncomfortable ways. Together, we’ll explore the full range of sound the body can make: primal sounds, guttural sounds, pleasurable sounds, silly sounds, beautiful sounds, and sounds that may not sound “good” at all. This is a compassionate space to experiment, be brave, and free your voice.
Midday Nourishment
We pause to share a delicious, home-cooked meal together — grounding and nourishing before diving deeper.
Afternoon: Archetypes & Circle
The afternoon opens with teachings and group dialogue on the dark feminine archetypes. In circle, we’ll reflect, share, and witness how these archetypal energies show up in our lives. How we’ve been shaped by them, impacted by them, or suppressed them.
Embodied Ritual
We then weave the threads of body, voice, and archetype into a culminating embodiment practice. With music, free movement, and ecstatic expression, we explore these archetypes at a somatic, emotional, and energetic level. This is where the ritual deepens into full-bodied becoming.
This is not about performance or perfection.
It’s about creating a ritual space to embrace your chaos, in all of its fire and beauty.
