Roan Bateman began writing songs in High School in Toronto in the early 90s. Bought a 4-track cassette recorder & focused on strange electronic instrumental music as Sleepy Mosquito. In 2006 Roan formed Dark Bird & began focusing on writing songs. The music can be dark, dreamy, psychedelic, personal & political, but also hopeful & colourful. The 2 projects continue to release around the same time.

C. Ross, formerly known as NORDIC NOMADIC, is the solo project of toronto, ontario, canada's Chad Ross (QUEST FOR FIRE, COMET CONTROL). Acoustic psych jams performed with deep fried guitars, space echoes, broken synths, shakey junk, green shake, chirping birds and cans of beer.
