Dark and Moody Flower Workshop

What to expect: My hands-on workshops are a space for you to cultivate your creativity, rock some floral art and have fun with friends! The goal of this workshop is to inspire your imagination, enrich your knowledge of flowers, and teach you tips that will give you the skills and self-confidence you need to create beautiful flower arrangements at home.

What you will learn: This is a comprehensive flower workshop that will teach you how to select store bought flowers, how to condition them, and show you step-by-step how to create a floral design that looks professional. No experience is necessary as Sarah will guide the class through the entire design process from beginning to end.

What to bring: Just your enthusiasm! We provide all the seasonal flowers and foliage, vases and tools you need to create a beautiful, professional looking flower arrangement to take home and enjoy.

Food and Beverages: Sparkling wine, water and individual Charcuterie Boxes "Foxy Boxes" by The Triple Shine will be provided, however, feel free to bring anything else you want to eat and drink! Please email us if you require a Gluten Free Charcuterie Box at [email protected]

Fee: $149.00 per person and full payment is required prior to the workshop. If at the last minute, you cannot attend the workshop, you can transfer the spot to another person who can attend in your place on the same date of the workshop that you signed up for. If you cannot find a person to attend in your absence, the fee is non-refundable due to the perishable nature of flowers.

Workshop location: Fresh Flower Bar is co-located with Outdoor Design and Living at 1301 Bronson Road, Fairfield, CT 06824. Our Floral Design Studio is located in the loft area of the modern gray barn. There is plenty of parking!

Time and length of workshop: We typically schedule the workshops on weekday evenings (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays) from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. However, we will happily try to accomodate a specific date and time for a private event.

Class size: We require a minimum of 5 students to hold a Flower Workshop and can accomodate a maximum of 16 students in our studio. For larger groups, we can hold our workshops outside, weather permitting.

COVID-19 Update: We are strictly adhering to the CT Department of Health Guidelines. Our facility is sanitized several times a day. Current guidance: No masks are required outdoors, those who HAVE been vaccinated do not have to wear a mask indoors, those who HAVE NOT been vaccinated are required to wear masks indoors.
