We did it! We've read more than 30,000 books this summer--beyond our community goal of 27,500 books! That means we get to celebrate with a colorful dance party, yard games, giveaways, prize drawings, award presentations*, and more on Market Street.
Can we win free ice cream?
Think we can read and log 3,000 more books by Saturday, August 16? If we reach our stretch goal of 33,000 books, there will be free ice cream treats from Susie's Sweets & Frozen Treats for participating readers at the party.
Winners All Around!
DeForest elementary school students have logged more than 9,000 books, so all students are invited to join us for a Color Blast at the Summer Reading Celebration. It will be similar to a Color Run, so wear white and prepare to be covered in colored powder.
