Daou Winery Tasting & Cheese Pairing

You know Daou Winery makes great Cabernet, and now you have the opportunity to taste some of their less-available wines with the incredible Maeve Pesquera from the winery!

Maeve is Daou's Senior Vice President, and one of the most dynamic presenters of wine knowledge you will ever get to meet. In this intimate event in our store, Maeve will be sharing the story behind four of Daou's estate crafted wines with you:

• Daou Bodyguard Chardonnay - an upper-tier Chardonnay with incredible depth of flavor.
• Daou Pessimist Red Blend - maybe the best go-to red blend on the market today, you'll get to know exactly how this delicious blend is assembled!
• Daou Bodyguard Red Blend - after you try the Pessimist, you're going to want to taste the extra care and flavor that goes into this upper-tier red blend!
• Daou Sequentis - trust us, you are going to want to try what high-end Paso Robles Merlot based wine tastes like. If you're "not a Merlot person", you're going to want to let Maeve try and change your mind.

You'll get samples of each of these four wines, and there may even be a surprise or two to enjoy with the scheduled wines - you'll just have to join us to find out!

In addition to the wine, we are partnering with our friend, Wisconsin Cheesemaker Ron Henningfeld of Hill Valley Dairy to provide cheese pairings for the evening!

The wines will be paired with a composed cheese plate for you to snack on while you enjoy your evening. Bring a friend or two for a weeknight escape that will be the highlight of your week. If you enjoy the wine, don't worry, the night's wines will be available for purchase at a special price for event attendees.
