⚓?Danube Improv is the smaller ramification of a large-scale project. Although Danube does not cross Slovenia, as Sava only joins our emblematic river at Belgrade, which later flows into the Black Sea at the delta mouth. In the end, all water becomes part of the world sea. All impro flow meet eventually. Don’t forget: over half of net weight of improv players consists of H2O.?From 22-24 September, the Itt és Most Társulat in Budapest is delighted to host trainers and actors from the Slovenian IGLU Theatre to connect through in-company and open training sessions, a guest performance and a joint jam session.

"The improviser who does not tell stories is chained to the treadmill of always needing a 'better' joke." (Keith Johnstone). Beginners and experienced improvisers alike often unknowingly ‘K*ll’ stories, preventing anything meaningful from happening, which might affect the scene or development of character. Building upon Johnston's methodology, we will try to become aware of our defensive procedures, reflect, and make things happen.

+ IGLU & Itt és Most jam session
TriStory is an improvised performance where, as the title suggests, we will see three stories acted out. They will all be located on the same spot – a historical site, building, monument or tourist attraction of Budapest, that will be selected by the audience. But each story will be unravelling in a different time period. Based on the information given by the audience, the improvisers will present the locations and historical points in time where the stories are to take place. And then we all leap into a giant time machine that will take us to the distant past and a moment later to the present or the incredible future.

IGLU - Improvisational Theatre of Ljubljana are Peter Frankl, Vid Sodnik and Juš Milčinski. Three performers joined their forces in 2013 into a performing crew with the intention for a professional approach to the improvisational arts. They perform regularly in Ljubljana, all around Slovenia and are becoming more and more active all across Europe and North America. They also teach at their very own IGLU impro school, where more than 120 students learn the art of improvisational theatre.
IGLU are regular visitors of numerous international festivals where they've been teaching, learning and performing. They have performed in the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Croatia, France, Italy, Belgium, Czech Republic, Austria, Poland, Colombia and different cities in Canada and USA. The cast is proud to be a part of the European improv project Ohana and ITI - International Theatresports Institute.
