About this Event
Join students and colleagues at Trinity College in collaboration with a range of community partners for a performance of poetry, music, film and theatre to celebrate the legacy of Italian poet Dante Alighieri on the advent of his 700 year centenary and the ongoing resonance of his work to people on the move today including tourists, international students, migrants and refugees in Rome.
Refreshments will be provided. Guests are invited to make to voluntary donation to local NGO Refugees Welcome. There will be the option to donate cash or online on the day.
The event is organized by students of the Reading Dante with Refugees course at Trinity College Rome Campus led by Dr Jennifer Allsopp and Morteza Khalegi in association with the University of Birmingham’s Institute for International Migration, Refugees and Superdiversity
