Dante Marsh & The Vibe Setters are a high energy Pop/Soul band based out of San Luis Obispo. Dante has played and written in Nashville, Kauai, LA, and recently met his band mates in San Luis Obispo CA. Dante Marsh & The Vibe Setters have played in many sold out shows and have opened for many world class names, more recently opened for Steele Pulse and Journey.
Their goal is simple to facilitate movement. Every show is an electric dance party for everyone. With melodic hooks and undeniable rhythmic grooves, the music has a genuine way of inspiring you to move.
About Dave Tate
Critically acclaimed and award-winning Singer-Songwriter Dave Tate’s soulful music combines dynamic vocals with intimate acoustic guitar to present a unique and introspective indie-folk sound. From Sometimes high and soaring, sometimes hushed and inviting, Tate’s heartfelt voice weaves his poetic lyrics through soundscapes of finger-style acoustic guitar and percussive rhythms. Tate has been hailed as “One of the most unique artists ever.” by Heaven Magazine and “An artist who is so incredibly good that you can't really believe not all music magazines are writing about him already.” by Folk Form in the Netherlands. Newly relocated to the Central Coast of California, Tate is a native of the red rock desert of Zion National Park. Tate’s music has often been inspired by the towering beauty of his red rock mountain homeland and is now inspired by the vast horizons of the Central Coast.
Performances often include a mix of intimate folk, and upbeat acoustic pop/rock originals as well as classic and modern singer/songwriter covers. Tate regularly performs 150+ shows per year. He has toured across the Western United States and in Europe on numerous occasions and his work was recently featured in a global on-flight commercial on all American Airlines international flights. Living in Austin, Portland, Salt Lake, Tucson, and Zion National Park as he developed his craft, Tate has released 14 studio albums, 9 of which are currently available.
